Sales don't make a game better or worse. I like Halo better for a lot of different reasons, but sales isn't one of them. to me, Halo's controls, story, and multiplayer make it a better game. But like everything, this is my personal opinion and it doesn't mean KZ2 is a bad game. Gamers these days are far too defensive. It's a sign of the times.

You judge the game based on the game itself. You don't call it fantastic and then down grade the rating because you don't agree with pricing. That's misleading as to the quality of the game itself.
I don't think MW2 should be down graded because it's 10 buck more than normal.

I don't care if it got an 8. I was expecting between 8-9, but if that 8 is mostly because of the price then that isn't right.
The Xbox's ODST gets a 9 and UC2 got a 9.5 (I agree it probably deserves more, but I don't see a couple tenths of a point as a big deal. The difference between 9.5 and 9.6,7,8,9 is not a big difference.)
You guys are so happy that the 360's poor expansion that will suck, flop, end Halo forever, got only half a point lower than your GOTY candidate. Am I the only one that knows how little half a point is? You guys are way over excited about a minor victory over a "flop". ...
there sure are a lot of companies with a Microsoft bias....hahaha Ok, now that I'm done pretending to be anti-anything, I think the general consensus is 8-9/10. That doesn't seem so bad. There was a 7 and a 3.5/5 and a high of 9.4 and 5/5. If you take out those outliers then you get a pretty damn good game.

his average score through 53 reviews is a 7. Either he reviews mediocre games or is overly harsh. Oh well. It's not like it matters much. I'll be picking it up on Tuesday and making my own decision on whether I enjoy it or not.

The 360 is really a great shooter console, so you could argue that it will most likely be a first-person shooter or a third-person shooter. (You could make a case for a racing game, but no matter how popular, they will never carry a console. Not even if it were as popular as GT)

not everyone hates Halo just because it's Halo. Unlike the other two reviews with one person obviously hating anything Halo and the other coming from a site with "Wii" in the name.
It's still some illegitimate site that no ones heard of though. Proven by the fact that it was bought at a store and not sent as a review copy.

I'll give it the once over but I'm still going to make my own judgment. Tuesday is the day. I'll see what's up with it then. (I've seen some people who harshly criticized Halo 2 and 3 say that this exceeded their expectations.)
